I hate water.

I seriously think if I have to drink one more drop of water, I will scream. :/

I went to the hospital around 5AM yesterday. Again.
Around 1AM, I started throwing up pretty bad. It really sucked, but I just figured it was something I ate. No biggie, right?
Not long afterwords, I got this TERRIBLE pain in my tummy area, that felt like one of those horrid gas bubbles that you get after you eat something your stomach HATES and you just sit there in misery until it goes away. It did NOT feel like any of my BH contractions. Not at all. So I wasn't really worried, just extremely uncomfortable.
Now you should know that I'm one of those people that will do ANYTHING to avoid going to the doctor. I hate the smell, I hate doctors, I hate old people, I hate stupid nurses. I just hate the whole experience.
So after about an hour, the pain started escalating, which I assumed was the "gas bubble" moving. Nope. It just kept getting worse and worse, to the point where I was making weird screaming gurgling noises uncontrollably. (Hawt, I know.) At that point, I was thinking "Okay, time to call the doctor."
Then bam. I was fine. Still uncomfortable, but fine. For about 15 minutes.
And that cycle repeated itself for about four hours. And yeah, I'm retarded and was in denial that it could possibly be contractions. And Tyler kept telling me to call my doctor, but nope. I didn't want to. ("Baby is still moving!")
So finally around 5AM, I waddled my butt upstairs, and flopped on the couch. My dad came home from walking the dog shortly after, and I managed to gurgle out "Dad....I hurt." and I'm pretty sure he about poo'd himself. :p
And thankfully, he called my doctors office, who had me come up to the hospital ASAP. I'm still thinking I have gas at this point, so I really really didn't want to go, just to be told to take some Gas-X and go home. Haha.
So I get there, and they have me pee in a cup, and throw me on the monitors.
So the nurse comes in, puts me on and IV since I'm dehydrated from being all sickface, (Only my 2nd IV ever. Ow.) and informs me I'm contracting. O_o
So then they tell me they're going to watch the monitors for a while since I came in right at shift change and they're going to have the day shift doctor come in and check me out. And who would have thought, I'm having some hella bad contractions. (For anyone that has been there or knows, the strip that prints out your contraction patterns, they weren't super frequent, but they'd hit the top of the chart, leave a straight line at the top for about 20 seconds, then go slowly back down. Ow.)
So the really nice doctor lady came in and informs me I have a "serious contraction pattern", and give me a quick ultrasound. Turns out baby decided to go head down. Woot.
So doctor lady says she wants to talk to my doctor, who is on at 7, to see if he thinks I need a full on ultrasound.
So she leaves and about a half hour later some random nurse comes rushing in and makes me lay on my side. I find out later it's because somehow when I was laying on my back, my contractions were shoving baby down too far and it was constricting her brain making her heart rate drop. Randomnurse tells me the other nurse will be back in a few to give me another bag of fluids and something to try and stop the contractions.
So about 15 minutes later doctorlady and normalnurse come back, and doctorlady starts explaining what they're giving me for the contractions, and they're gonna keep an eye on it for a little while.
So 20 minutes after taking the first pill, I start puking again, so normalnurse gives me another one. A while after that, doctorlady comes in looking freaked out. She tells me they're going to give me another dose of the stuff, and that if that doesn't work, they're gonna have to do some other tests to make sure I'm in fact just dehydrated, not in labor. And that I could be in labor, and if I am, they have to send me to Medford.
So at that point, I'm like "omg."
Now I'm waiting and waiting and everything seems like it's taking FOREVER. And eventually, they come back, and give me about 10 in the vag tests. (Without lube, cause it'll skew one of the tests apparently...OWWWW.) and then they proceed to check my cervix. (OWWWWWWWWWWWWW) and I'm a bit dialated.
So after the last pill, my contractions slowed, and a couple hours later, pretty much stopped.
so they waited for some test that tells you like "for sure" if you're in labor. That came back negative, so I got sent home. Woot :)

Now I'm supposed to drink 100000000 glasses of water a day and it's terrible :(
But at least it's over with... I hope.
